Thanks Jess! I actually am DYING to get a DSLR! Right now I have a Kodak Easyshare bridge camera. Technically I can shoot in manual on my current camera - I just haven't learned how (too lazy to break out the manual). So, I shoot everything in auto - which is holding me back big time!

Do you like Cannon or Nikon better?

You camera takes really sharp pictures. I had a kodak that SUCKED. I hated it. Vowed never to buy a kodak ever again. The clarity on the pictures is awesome, I'm surprised that is just a point&shoot.

I've never really shot with a Nikon, so I do all my shooting with a Canon. It's a personal preference thing. Canon's just feel more natural when I'm holding them and shooting with them.

What a beautiful girl. There are a couple that I absolutely LOVE.
